Discharge Preparation. The final clinical segment will focus upon finalizing preparation of the patient for returning to community life in the least restrictive environment. Linkages will be established with community care providers and other support resources, and treatment will be scaled down with increasing privileges. Whenever possible and appropriate, coordination will be established with patients’ families.
