Common use of Disclaimer/Indemnity Clause in Contracts

Disclaimer/Indemnity. The Employer shall have no financial responsibility for the fees or dues of any employee, unless the Employer owes an employee sufficient unpaid wages to pay the fees and dues assigned. The Union agrees to indemnify and hold the Employer harmless against any claims, demands, actions or charges brought against the Employer by an employee as a result of deductions made in accordance with this article.
