Common use of Disconnection for Emergencies Clause in Contracts

Disconnection for Emergencies. We or the Network Operator may disconnect or interrupt supply to the Supply Address in case of an Emergency. Where supply is disconnected in the case of an Emergency the Network Operator shall: (a) provide, by way of its 24 hour emergency line, information on the nature of the Emergency and an estimate of the time when supply will be restored; and (b) use its best endeavours to reconnect or secure reconnection at the Supply Address as soon as possible.
