Discontinuance of Contributions and Termination of Plan. The Principal Sponsor reserves the right to reduce, suspend or discontinue its contributions to the Plan and to terminate the Plan herein embodied in its entirety. Notwithstanding anything in this Plan Statement to the contrary, if the Principal Sponsor applies to the Internal Revenue Service for a ruling that the termination of the Plan does not adversely affect its qualified status, then all distributions (other than required distributions under Section 7.1.3) shall be suspended upon termination of the Plan pending the receipt of a favorable determination.
