Discount Period Clause Samples

The Discount Period clause defines the specific timeframe during which a buyer is eligible to receive a price reduction on goods or services, typically as an incentive for early payment. In practice, this clause outlines the start and end dates of the discount window and may specify the percentage or amount of the discount available if payment is made within that period. Its core function is to encourage prompt payment by offering a financial benefit, thereby improving the seller’s cash flow and reducing the risk of late payments.
