DISJUNCTION. Should any of the approved provisions come to be judged illegal, invalid or ineffective, all the other provisions not affected by this judgment will remain in force, while the parties pledge, in all good faith, to replace the affected provision with another that, as much as possible, has the same effect.

DISJUNCTION. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be null, invalid or unenforceable, partly or wholly, all other provisions of this Agreement shall continue to apply. Moreover, the parties shall attempt, through negotiations in good faith, to replace any provision of this Agreement so held to be null, invalid or unenforceable by a provision of comparable effect. The failure of the parties to reach agreement on a replacement provision shall neither affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Agreement nor the validity of the valid or enforceable part of any provision held partly invalid, which provision shall take effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • Masculine or Feminine Gender Unless otherwise specifically stated, any provision in this Agreement which is expressed in terms of the masculine shall, in its application to a female employee, be read with the necessary changes to express the feminine, and vice versa.

  • Singular Includes the Plural; Gender; Title Reference Whenever the singular number is used in this Contract and when required by the context, the same shall include the plural, and the use of any gender, be it masculine, feminine or neuter, shall include all of the genders, and the word “person” or “entity” shall include corporation, firm, partnership, or any other combination or association. The use of the title “Bidder”, “Vendor”, “Contractor” or “Consultant” within this contract or associated bid documents shall be deemed interchangeable and shall refer to the person or entity with whom the City of Sparks is contracting for the service or product referenced within this contract.

  • Gender and Use of Singular and Plural All pronouns shall be deemed to refer to the masculine, feminine, neuter, singular or plural, as the identity of the party or parties or their personal representatives, successors and assigns may require.

  • HEADINGS; SINGULAR/PLURAL The headings of this Agreement are for convenience of reference and shall not form part of, or affect the interpretation of, this Agreement. Whenever required by the context of this Agreement, the singular shall include the plural and masculine shall include the feminine.

  • GENDER AND PLURAL 31.01 Whenever the context so requires, the use of words herein in the singular shall be construed to include the plural, and words in the plural, the singular, and words whether in the masculine, feminine or neuter gender shall be construed to include all of said genders. By the use of either the masculine or feminine genders it is understood that said use is for convenience purposes only and is not to be interpreted to be discriminatory by reason of sex.

  • Singular and Plural; Gender In this Agreement whenever the male pronoun is used, it shall be deemed to include the female pronoun or vice versa and, likewise, whenever the singular is used, it shall be deemed to include the plural, as the context requires.

  • Genders The masculine, feminine and neuter genders used herein shall include the masculine, feminine and neuter genders.

  • Not Exclusive Nothing herein shall be construed as prohibiting you or your affiliates from acting as an underwriter or financial adviser or in any other capacity for any other persons (including other registered investment companies or other investment managers).

  • Rights Not Exclusive The rights provided for in this Agreement and the other Loan Documents are cumulative and are not exclusive of any other rights, powers, privileges or remedies provided by law or in equity, or under any other instrument, document or agreement now existing or hereafter arising.

  • Gender and Plurals Wherever the context so requires, the masculine gender includes the feminine or neuter, and the singular number includes the plural and conversely.
