Common use of Dispatch and Curtailment Clause in Contracts

Dispatch and Curtailment. The ISO shall only dispatch or curtail a Net Scheduled QF of the Participating Generator: (a) to the extent the Participating Generator bids Energy or Ancillary Services from the Net Scheduled QF into the ISO’s markets or the Energy is otherwise available to the ISO under Section 5.11.4 of the ISO Tariff; or (b) if the ISO must dispatch or curtail the Net Scheduled QF in order to respond to an existing or imminent System Emergency or condition that would compromise ISO Control Area integrity or reliability as provided in Sections 2.3, 5.1.3, and 11.2.4.2.1 of the ISO Tariff.
