Common use of Disposition by Landlord Clause in Contracts

Disposition by Landlord. If the Landlord sells or leases the Lands, the Building, the Property or any part thereof, or assigns this Lease, and to the extent that the covenants and obligations of the Landlord under this Lease are assumed by the purchaser, lessee or assignee, the Landlord, without further written agreement, will be discharged and relieved of liability under the said covenants and obligations.
