Common use of Disputed Billings Clause in Contracts

Disputed Billings. Minor discrepancies in the final xxxx involving less than $1,000 will not be adjusted. For bills having discrepancies of more than $1,000, written notice should be mailed to the billing Agency within 60 days of receipt fully explaining the area of dispute. The uncontested portion of the xxxx should be paid and a new xxxx issued for the contested amount. Contested items will be resolved no later than 60 days following receipt of the written notice, and may be adjusted in the following year’s xxxx if necessary.
