District/Citizens' Advisory Committees Sample Clauses

District/Citizens' Advisory Committees. A. The principal shall ask for teacher volunteers to serve on District committees including but not limited to study committees and citizen's advisory committees. B. The Association shall have the opportunity and option to appoint a representative to participate on any such committee as defined herein above.
District/Citizens' Advisory Committees. The District agrees to meet and confer with the Association upon the Association’s request relative to providing the Association with information about such committees.
District/Citizens' Advisory Committees. The Association shall have the right to represent teachers of the District on committees within, and/or pertaining to the District, including but not limited to, study committees and citizens’ advisory committees. The Association shall have the opportunity and option to appoint additional members to participate on any such committee. All results of the committee’s work, oral and/or written, shall be presented to the Association and to the Board. The Association may waive its right to appoint teachers to advisory and/or other committees when the Association deems that it would be in the best interest of the District and the Association.
