DISTRICT-DECLARED ADVERSE WEATHER DELAYS AND CLOSURES. 1. A closure occurs when the District closes a school, work site, an area of the District or the entire District due to adverse weather conditions. 2. Essential Personnel are those employees designated by the District as “essential” that may be required to work due to the adverse weather closure. Essential personnel are limited to those employees designated by the Director of Transportation or by the appropriate Terminal Manager.
