Ditching and Slope Stabilization. Item No. A10 a and b‌‌ Reference: OPSS MUNI. 206 The unit price bid shall include for full compensation for all labour, equipment and material necessary to do the work, including provision of traffic control as per OTM Book 7. The locations of ditching or slope stabilization will be identified on site by the Contract Administrator prior to commencing the work. All surplus graded material shall be disposed of off the site at a location arranged for by the Contractor. If required, Screened topsoil is to be used for slope stabilization in maintained areas. Payment for screened topsoil will be made under the Provisional Item for topsoil. The use of this Item shall be approved by the Contract Administrator, prior to placement. Surplus material generated during ditching operations may be used for slope stabilization in non-maintained areas. Every effort shall be made not to damage tree roots. Should roots be severed, they shall be cut cleanly with sharp pruning tools.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris.   • Stabilization Neither the Company nor, to its knowledge, any of its employees, directors or shareholders (without the consent of the Representative) has taken or shall take, directly or indirectly, any action designed to or that has constituted or that might reasonably be expected to cause or result in, under Regulation M of the Exchange Act, or otherwise, stabilization or manipulation of the price of any security of the Company to facilitate the sale or resale of the Public Securities.

  • Switching and Tagging Rules The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each provide the other Party a copy of its switching and tagging rules that are applicable to the other Party’s activities. Such switching and tagging rules shall be developed on a nondiscriminatory basis. The Parties shall comply with applicable switching and tagging rules, as amended from time to time, in obtaining clearances for work or for switching operations on equipment.
