Common use of DOCUMENTARY TAXES INDEMNITY Clause in Contracts

DOCUMENTARY TAXES INDEMNITY. All stamp, documentary, registration or other like duties or Taxes, including any penalties, additions, fines, surcharges or interest relating to those duties and Taxes, which are imposed or chargeable on or in connection with any Financing Document shall be paid by the Borrower. The Bank shall be entitled but not obliged to pay any such duties or Taxes (whether or not they are its primary responsibility). If the Bank does so the Borrower shall on demand indemnify the Bank against those duties and Taxes and against any costs and expenses incurred by the Bank in discharging them.
