Common use of Documentation of Project Costs and Program Income Clause in Contracts

Documentation of Project Costs and Program Income. Except to the extent that FTA determines otherwise in writing, the Recipient agrees to support all costs charged to the Project, including any approved services or property contributed by the Recipient or others, with properly executed payrolls, time records, invoices, contracts, vouchers, or other appropriate records describing in detail the nature and propriety of the charges, including adequate records to support the costs the Recipient has incurred underlying any payment FTA has agreed to participate in based on a “payable” milestone. The Recipient also agrees to maintain accurate records of all program income derived from Project implementation, except certain income FTA determines to be exempt from Federal program income requirements.
