Common use of Driver’s Qualifications Clause in Contracts

Driver’s Qualifications. The Hirer warrants that no person will drive the vehicle unless that person:- (a) is over the age of 25 years and under the age of 75; (b) is not under the influence of alcohol or a drug with an blood alcohol content exceeding the amount permitted by law in the jurisdiction in which the vehicle is operated; (c) has not been refused motor vehicle insurance; (d) holds a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license authorising the person to drive the vehicle issued by a transport authority of an Australian State or Territory.
