Common use of Drug and Alcohol Records Clause in Contracts

Drug and Alcohol Records. In the performance of the Services under this Grant, Grantee may have access to confidential information regarding alcohol and drug abuse patient records. Grantee agrees that such information is confidential and protected information and promises and assures that any such information, regardless of form, disclosed to Grantee for the purposes of this Grant will not be disclosed or discussed with others without the prior written consent of the State. The Grantee and the State will comply with the applicable requirements of 42 CFR Part 2 and any other applicable federal or state law or regulatory requirement concerning such information. The Grantee will report any unauthorized disclosures of such information in compliance with Section 21.F.
