Drug Testing Standards Clause Samples
The Drug Testing Standards clause establishes the requirements and procedures for conducting drug tests within an organization or under a contract. This clause ensures a safe and compliant work environment by deterring substance abuse and providing clear guidelines for addressing violations.
Drug Testing Standards. A. Screening Test Standards: The following initial immunoassay test cutoff levels shall be used when screening specimens to determine whether they are negative for the five (5) drugs or classes of drugs: Cocaine metabolites 300 ng/ml Opiate metabolites 300 ng/ml Phencyclidine 25 ng/ml Amphetamines 1000 ng/ml B Confirmatory Test Standards: All specimens identified as positive on the initial screening tests shall be confirmed using GC/MS techniques at the cutoff levels listed below. All confirmations shall be by quantitative analysis. Concentrations which exceed the linear region of the standard curve shall be documented. Marijuana metabolites1 15 ng/ml Cocaine metabolites2 150 ng/ml Opiates: Morphine 300 ng/ml Codeine 300 ng/ml Phencyclidine 25 ng/ml Amphetamines: Amphetamine 500 ng/ml Methamphetamine 500 ng/ml 1Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol-9-carboxylic acid 2Benzoylecgonine
Drug Testing Standards. All testing will be conducted by an Agency for Health Care Administration approved laboratory; positive and negative test results will be reviewed by a certified Medical Review Officer to assure accuracy.
