Common use of DSAP Holders Clause in Contracts

DSAP Holders. In accordance with the provisions of CT Statutes 10-14 (n), employees working in a teaching position solely on the basis of a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP) shall be included in the bargaining unit. The Board shall have the right, in its sole discretion, not to renew and/or terminate the employment of a DSAP holder, and the DSAP holder shall have no right to file and/or pursue a grievance under this Agreement with respect to such action. c. DSAP holders shall have no bumping rights or recall rights under this Agreement. Reduction in force and recall provisions shall not apply to such DSAP holders. d. A DSAP holder shall have no rights related to assignments, transfers and opportunities. DSAP holders may be assigned as needed in the district in the Board’s sole discretion. A DSAP holder shall have no right to file and/or pursue a grievance with respect to such issues.
