Dues and Charges Sample Clauses

The 'Dues and Charges' clause defines the responsibility for payment of fees, assessments, or other financial obligations related to the subject matter of the agreement. Typically, it specifies which party is required to pay ongoing or incidental costs such as membership dues, service charges, or regulatory fees. For example, in a lease, this clause might clarify whether the landlord or tenant is responsible for utilities or association fees. Its core practical function is to allocate financial responsibilities clearly between the parties, thereby preventing disputes over unexpected or ambiguous charges.
