Duties and functions of Independent Engineer. (a) The Independent Engineer shall undertake inspections of the Site regularly and at such times as it deems appropriate, to determine the progress in construction of the Project Facilities, monitoring of the inspection tests and providing of services to make the Project Facilities fully operational; (b) [The Independent Engineer shall determine the progress in operation of the Project Facilities, monitoring of the inspection tests and services performance;] (c) The Independent Engineer shall prepare and submit (at least one a month), periodic reports to the Authority in respect of its duties and functions set forth in Schedule-Q; and (d) The Independent Engineer shall discharge its duties and functions substantially in accordance with the terms of reference set forth in Schedule- Q.
