Common use of Duties of the Transfer Agent Clause in Contracts

Duties of the Transfer Agent. FTIS shall be responsible for administering and/or performing transfer agent functions; for acting as service agent in connection with dividend and distribution functions; and for performing shareholder account and administrative agent functions in connection with the issuance, transfer and redemption or repurchase (including coordination with the Custodian) of Shares. The operating standards and procedures to be followed shall be determined from time to time by agreement between the Fund and FTIS. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, FTIS agrees to perform the specific duties listed on Schedule C.
