Duty Day Extension Sample Clauses

A Duty Day Extension clause allows for the extension of an employee's or contractor's scheduled workday under certain circumstances. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which a duty period may be lengthened, such as operational delays, emergencies, or unforeseen events, and may specify limits on the maximum allowable extension. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility in scheduling while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and operational needs, thereby addressing situations where strict adherence to original duty hours is impractical.
