Common use of Early Occupancy by Owner Clause in Contracts

Early Occupancy by Owner. The Owner has the right to occupy or use ahead of schedule, at no additional cost nor obligation to Owner, all or any substantially completed or partially completed portion of the Work when such occupancy and use are in its best interest, notwithstanding the time of completion for all of the Work. Maintenance of occupied portion will remain the Contractor’s responsibility.
