Common use of Early termination by CSIRO Clause in Contracts

Early termination by CSIRO. Where CSIRO terminates employment (except if the termination is due to inefficiency or misconduct) prior to the completion of the specified term period, the officer shall: • be given two weeks’ notice of the early termination, subject to the minimum notice period required under the Fair Work Act 2009; • be given access to redeployment by being placed on CSIRO’s central redeployment register as a specified term officer and being considered for opportunities that arise for which they have suitable skills; and • be entitled to a separation payment as per paragraph 6 of this Schedule for completed months of service and the period of service that would have otherwise been completed if the employment continued to the end of the specified term period.
