Common use of Early Termination of Covenant Period Clause in Contracts

Early Termination of Covenant Period. Beginning six (6) months after the beginning of the Covenant Period, Executive may, upon thirty (30) days’ written notice to the Company, elect to forego and forfeit any claim to any unpaid severance benefits pursuant to Section 1.7.2 above and, subject to and conditioned upon such notice and written election by Executive, Executive will, effective upon the date of such notice, be released from any remaining obligations under this Section 2, and this Section shall be of no further force and effect.
