Common use of Earnings CGR Clause in Contracts

Earnings CGR. Earnings CGR" shall mean the compounded growth rate of Earnings and shall be determined by calculating the rate of interest at which Earnings for the Base Year would have to be invested to yield the Earnings for the Calculation Year in question, assuming such interest compounded annually during the period commencing with the first day of the calendar year immediately succeeding the Base Year and ending on the last day of such Calculation Year.
