Common use of Education Efforts Clause in Contracts

Education Efforts. OTSO will reimburse for hours/costs spent towards education efforts for OVITF grants. These efforts can be used towards educating students, the general public at events, or officers and must be consistent with traffic safety problem identification (no interview techniques or other courses not related to traffic safety). Education efforts must be submitted to and approved by OTSO on a Request to Purchase form prior to incurring any costs. A total of five percent of direct labor costs (do not include coordination costs) will be allowed towards education efforts.
