/ EFFECT AND DURATION OF THE COVER. Provided that the insured person has already paid the corresponding premium, the cover will take effect from the moment of taking out this insurance contract and will expire at the time of departure, or the handing over of the keys in the case of rentals. However, for any cover taken out after the date of purchase or booking the trip, a waiting period of 4 days during which no cover can take effect will be applicable from the date of taking out the insurance contract and the cover will only take effect at the end of this period.
