Effect of Long Service Payment on Future Service. Any teacher receiving the long service payment will be deemed to have been paid in full for service to that date for the purpose of calculating service for any future sick leave, severance or long service payment entitlements. Payment under this provision is conditional upon the teacher finishing on an agreed date [usually the first (1st) of March].
