Common use of Effect of Sale, Conveyance or Assignment Clause in Contracts

Effect of Sale, Conveyance or Assignment. A sale, conveyance or assignment of the Lands and Building shall operate to release the Landlord of liability, from and after the effective date thereof, upon all of the covenants, terms and conditions of this Lease, express or implied, except as such may relate to the period prior to such effective date, and the Tenant shall thereafter look solely to the Landlord’s successor in interest in and to this Lease.
