Common use of Effect of Termination or Expiration of DAA Clause in Contracts

Effect of Termination or Expiration of DAA. Upon termination or expiration of this DAA, Institution shall: i. cease all use of the MSSNG Data (including copies thereof archived, copied, downloaded or otherwise extracted by Institution Researcher and the Research Team from the MSSNG Database) and MSSNG Data Downloads and all access to the MSSNG Database; ii. destroy all copies (including backup copies) of MSSNG Data archived, copied, downloaded or otherwise extracted by Institution, Researcher and the Research Team from the MSSNG Database, provided, however, that Institution may retain copies of MSSNG Data to the extent required by law; iii. certify in writing to AS the destruction (in accordance with this DAA) of all copies of MSSNG Data archived, copied, downloaded or otherwise extracted by Institution, Researcher and the Research Team from the MSSNG Database; iv. and provide to AS the Final Report within thirty (30) days of the termination or expiration of this DAA.
