Effective and Termination Dates. a. A leave of absence may become effective only at the end of a quarter or at the end of a school year. b. Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and the approval of the Board of Trustees, a leave of absence may become effective on a date other than the close of business on the last day of a quarter, or be terminated on a date other than the close of business on the last day of a quarter.
