Effective Date of Horizontal Advancement. a. Horizontal advancement will only occur at the beginning of the academic year. Earned credit for horizontal movement completed prior to the opening of the Fall semester will be credited on the Fall semester contract. In all cases, official transcripts must be furnished to Human Resources before credits will be granted.
