Common use of Effective Date of Merger Clause in Contracts

Effective Date of Merger. The Merger shall become effective immediately upon the filing of the Certificate of Merger with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware. The date and time of such effectiveness is herein referred to as the “Effective Date”.
