EFFECTIVE DATE, TERMINATION, AND RENEWAL. 17.1 This Agreement shall become effective on the first day of May, AD., 2019, and shall continue in full force and effect until the thirtieth (30th) day of April, AD., 2022 and thereafter from year to year unless terminated upon written notice of either party within one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to any anniversary of the terminal date. 17.2 Either Party to this Agreement may, no more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the terminal date, request the other Party to commence collective bargaining. Such notice to be given by registered mail. 17.3 If notice to negotiate has been given by either Party, this Agreement shall remain in force and effect during any period of negotiations in accordance with established legislative and/ or governmental authority. 17.4 Nothing contained herein shall prevent the Parties agreeing to retroactivity.
