Common use of Effectiveness and Term Clause in Contracts

Effectiveness and Term. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date hereof (the “Effective Date”) and shall remain in effect until the third (3rd) anniversary of the Effective Date, except that, beginning on the second anniversary of the Effective Date and on each anniversary thereafter, the term of this Agreement shall be automatically extended for an additional one-year period, unless the Company or the Executive provides the other party with sixty (60) days’ prior written notice before the applicable anniversary that the term of this Agreement shall not be so extended.
