Common use of Elective Termination Clause in Contracts

Elective Termination. Either Party may terminate this Agreement by giving the other Party at least 6 months prior written notice as provided in this Section. The notice of termination will state the effective date of termination, which date may be no earlier than the last to occur of the following dates: (a) the last day of the current term of this Agreement; or (b) 6 months after the date the notice is given.
