Electrical Wire Requirements. All electrical appliances, equipment or machines requiring 110-120 volt service must be equipped with three-wire electrical cord and caps 5-15 P plug (double insulated wiring or equivalent). The wire must be of an amperage rating so as not to be overloaded by requirements of the appliances, equipment or machines. Appliances, equipment and machines must have UL approval and meet all OSHA and other laws and regulations pertaining to the type of appliance, equipment or machine.
