Electronic Prescribing. I authorize Surescripts, an electronic prescribing network, to release my medication refill history to my providers for the purpose of continued treatment.
Electronic Prescribing. 3.1 Without limiting clause 14 Exhibit A, Electronic Prescribing relies on third party data exchanges to complete the electronic transfer of prescriptions, and your use (and/or continued use) of Electronic Prescribing may require you to agree to terms provided by such third parties from time to time. MedicalDirector is separate from such third party data exchanges, is not an agent of these third party data exchanges and does not represent them. Without limiting this clause, MedicalDirector currently relies on eRx Script Exchange Pty Ltd (eRx) as such a third party data exchange (eRx Script Exchange). You acknowledge that you have read and (agree to comply with) the terms and conditions applicable to the eRx Script Exchange (as updated or amended and as currently available at xxxxx://xxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xx/xxxx/xxxxxx/xxxx/xXx_Xxxxxx_Xxxxxxxx- General_Terms_Conditions.pdf) in relation to your use of Electronic Prescribing. 3.2 You agree to MedicalDirector disclosing Personal Information and Patient Data to third party data exchanges, as described in clause 5.1 (including the eRx Script Exchange), as necessary for the completion of the electronic transfer of prescriptions initiated by your use of Electronic Prescribing. 3.3 It is the sole responsibility of the prescribing medical practitioner to ensure that any use of Electronic Prescribing is suitable for the prescription of a pharmaceutical product. MedicalDirector makes no recommendation regarding the use or suitability of Electronic Prescribing for any medical condition (or in relation to prescribing any pharmaceutical product). 3.4 Without limiting any other provision of this XXXX MedicalDirector makes no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding the suitability of the Applications being used for the purposes of Electronic Prescribing. The use of the Applications for the purposes of Electronic Prescribing is your sole responsibility. 3.5 It is your sole responsibility to comply with Law when accessing, engaging with or utilising Electronic Prescribing (including the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Regulations 2017 if applicable), including (without limitation) ensuring that Electronic Prescribing is a legal form of prescription in your state or territory.
Electronic Prescribing. 8.16.1 Fully Compliant eMEDRenal prescribes against a drug list which is updated every few weeks from the NHS Terminology Reference Data Update Distribution Service (TRUD). 8.16.2 Fully Compliant eMEDRenal includes a full ePrescribing system. The system allows creation and maintenance of patients' medication history including dose, preparation, frequency and route of administration. All drug information is converted automatically to Read V3/Snomed CT codes. 8.16.3 Fully Compliant The eMEDRenal ePrescribing module uses only national codes provided by NHS CfH and conforms to NHS standards. 8.16.4 Fully Compliant The current version of eMEDRenal (v3) uses READ V3 codes for drugs. This is fortunate as current drug prescriptions in Proton use READ V2 and there are cross-mapping tables to allow automatic conversion to READ V3. The READ V3 drug code structure has notable similarities with dm+d. MHI is currently migrating eMEDRenal to dm+d. This upgrade depends on cross- mapping which companies have to do themselves as NHS CfH do not provide cross-mapping tables to dm+d. The upgrade to dm+d will be released in version 3.1 of eMEDRenal early in 2010 and will include the full set of dm+d functionality, including links to the British National Formulary. Version 3.0 of eMEDRenal is currently being deployed to user sites. The development work to support the conversion to DM+D codes has been completed, and the mapping of Clinical Terms drug codes to DM+D codes has also been completed and submitted to Connecting for Health for validation. The Connecting for Health team has identified a small sub-set of drugs that will require either manual confirmation by users or the display of a suitable user notice for cases where mapping is not 100% reliable. The migration will be applied to all user sites with version 3.1, which will be released in Q1 or 2 of 2012. 8.16.5 Fully Compliant Reconciliation and supporting information (date, reference/source, comments) as recommended by NICE is documented in medication notes. 8.16.6 Fully Compliant The drug list is updated every few weeks from the NHS Terminology Reference Data Update Distribution Service (TRUD). 8.16.7 Fully Compliant Unlicensed drugs and drugs for clinical trials can be prescribed from an additional list maintained locally. 8.16.8 Fully Compliant The supporting drug information, including licensing and availability status is updated every few weeks from the NHS Terminology Reference Data Update Distribution Service (TRU...
