Common use of Element Description Clause in Contracts

Element Description. A “Loop” is defined in Applicable Law and the terms of this Agreement. In general, it is the transmission facility (or channel or group of channels on such facility) that extends from a Main Distribution Frame (MDF) or its equivalent in a CenturyTel central office to and including a demarcation or connector block in/at a subscriber's premises. As described below, different rules govern loop UNEs provisioned over “home run” Copper Loop facilities, Hybrid Loops comprised of fiber and copper, and stand-alone fiber loop facilities.
