Elementary School. At the request of the Superintendent, elementary school teachers that teach all the student contact time on a daily basis will be paid for an additional hour at an hourly rate based upon their contractual daily rate of pay for a maximum of 180 days. Teachers will not be required to spend additional time beyond their regular day. All scheduling options must have been exhausted before an administrator will receive permission for this variance. The appeal process for this variance is defined in the Staffing Plan.
Elementary School a. Teachers not assigned to a regular class may be assigned to substitute if no volunteers are available. Every effort shall be made to avoid dispersing students to different classrooms.
Elementary School. Elementary teachers shall have no more than twenty-six (26) clock hours of pupil contact teaching assignments per week less established break periods, but not including individual student conferences that may be scheduled by the teacher.

Any MBU performing the following extra duties shall be paid the rate listed below for the number of hours that the site principal determines are available and necessary for the extra duty to be accomplished. If more than one MBU at a site performs any of the listed extra duties, each person shall be paid the salary listed below. No person will perform any of the extra duty assignments without his/her consent and the written consent of the site administrator. Elementary School. At the request of the individual teacher involved with the alleged overload, the class load will be re-examined by the administration and adjustment considered in light of the following possible solutions:
Elementary School. 1. In the elementary school a "full-time" teaching load shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Elementary teachers shall be in residence from 7:55 a.m. until 3:15 p.m., excluding the forty-five minute lunch period, except as released by the administration.
