Eligibility for Day Shift Differential. The day shift differential will not apply, and the employee will receive his/her regular hourly rate and accruals for hours worked in the following situations: 1) Newly hired Firefighters in training. 2) Employees assigned to day shift for light duty or accommodation. 3) Employees who voluntarily agree to adjusted schedules related to training opportunities or jury duty in accordance with Article 12.5.
