Differentials. Special Education Head Teachers at the High School, Middle School and Elementary levels differentials shall be based on the size of the team (department) as follows:
Differentials. No evening or night differentials will be applicable for a person on flexible scheduling concepts unless some or all of the hours he/she works would have fallen within the differential period of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. had the person not been on a flexible scheduling concept.
Differentials. 11.7.11.1 The position of head counselor/xxxx in middle and high school shall be paid a differential of eleven per cent (11%) of Classification III, Rating 12, of the BA+60 column of the TK-12 Credentialed Teachers salary schedule, in addition to the salary received as a teacher. The required days of service shall be five (5) days longer than the teachers’ calendar.
11.7.11.2 A department head in secondary schools or athletic director in high school shall be paid a differential in addition to the salary he/she receives as a teacher. This differential shall be five per cent (5%). of Classification III, Rating 12, of the BA+60 column of the K-12 Credentialed Teachers salary schedule. The required days of service shall be five (5) days longer than the teachers’ calendar.
11.7.11.2.1 Athletic directors who do not also serve as department heads in high schools and where twelve (12) or more Academic Athletic Association teams are fielded shall receive the differential specified above.
11.7.11.2.2 Department heads who also serve as athletic directors in high schools shall receive the differential specified above for their department head work and the extended day pay rate for their athletic director work.
11.7.11.2.3 For the term of this Agreement, high school counselors shall each be granted fourteen
Differentials. Differentials are automatically added to salary for special assignments. Individuals are not eligible for the differential if transferred to a position for which no differential is paid, unless he/she is notified of the transfer after the last working day of the school year. If such transfer occurs during a school year, the individual so affected shall continue to receive the differential for the remainder of the school year in which the transfer occurs, unless employee requested the transfer.
a. Differentials shall be granted for the following positions:
i. Teachers of all Special Education classes - $500 per year
ii. Language/Speech Pathologists - $500 per year iii. Head Nurse — MA step 14 x 0.04 per year
Differentials. Employees shall receive differentials and premium pay at the centers as they are specifically identified in this section.
Differentials. The County and the Labor Coalition agree to establish a Labor/Management Committee comprised of five (5) labor and five (5) management employees to study and recommend actions necessary to standardize payment and application of differentials including, but not limited to, proration for less than full-time employees; the length of payment while on paid sick leave or disability and consistency between percent-based vs. flat-payment differentials.
Differentials. Existing wage differentials among classes of workers within a building shall be main- tained. It is recognized that wage differentials other than those required herein may exist or arise because of wages above the minima required by this Agreement. No change in such differentials shall be considered a violation of this Agreement unless it appears that it results from an attempt to break down the wage struc- ture for the building. Where an employee possesses considerable mechanical or technical skill and devotes more than 75% of his/her working time in the build- ing to work involving such skill, the wage rate shall be determined by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. Such employee shall receive a wage of not less than ten ($10) dollars per week above the contract minimum rate for a handyperson. If the Employer and the Union cannot agree upon the rate of pay of such an employee, or in cases where an obvious inequity exists by rea- son of an employee’s regular application of specialized abilities in his/her work, the amount or correctness of the differential may be deter- mined by grievance and/or arbitration. Notwithstanding the above, it is understood that licensed engineers covered under this Agreement shall constitute a separate bargain- ing unit and receive the same wages and benefits as paid to engineers under the Realty Advisory Board (RAB) Agreement covering licensed engineers in New York City except that Pension, Health, Legal and Training Fund con- tributions shall continue to be paid under the terms of this Agreement.

Differentials. In addition to the rates outlined in Section 1 of this Article, all eligible Homecare Workers shall receive the following differentials for all hours worked:
Differentials. 1. Custodians performing window washing duties from ground level using high pressure hoses or other such devices to reach windows above ground level shall be paid a $2.00 per hour differential for a minimum of one (1) hour.
2. Window washing shall remain a duty in the Custodian class specification. Nothing in this article shall be construed to limit any Custodian from accomplishing incidental window washing of interior or exterior ground level windows in his/her assigned area for periods of less than one (1) hour.
