Eligibility for Training Sample Clauses

Eligibility for Training. An employee must have worked for the State at least six months, passed their initial working test period, and attained permanent status to be eligible to place their name on the Basic Training Sign- up List.
Eligibility for Training. An employee must receive prior City approval to participate in the paramedic training and certification program, and the City retains sole discretion to approve or deny an employee’s participation in paramedic training. Additionally, employees will be eligible for Paramedic training only upon successful completion of their probationary period with the City of National City.
Eligibility for Training. Employees may apply on the prescribed educational assistance form for financial aid to a course of outside training. The degree of financial aid assumed by the Company will depend on the circumstances involved as follows: (a) Full cost of training (tuition fees, required textbooks, and such other expenses as may be approved by the Company) will be borne by the Company where the training is at the instigation of management. Such training requires written approval of a departmental manager. (b) One-half the cost of training (tuition fees, required textbooks, and such other expenses as may be approved by the Company) will be reimbursed to an employee, upon success full completion of such training or course, where: (i) written approval has been obtained from the Company prior to the commencement of such training or course; and (ii) the Company agrees that additional training would be helpful to the individual's present performance or could be of future use to the employee in working with the Company.
