ELIGIBLE SERVICE AND FARE VALIDATION. Standard SmartPasses are valid fare for all VTA-operated fixed route Bus and Light Rail services through the Agreement period. A Standard SmartPass is a valid fare on VTA Local Bus and Light Rail services only; premium fare and special event service are excluded from the SmartPass program.
