ELIGIBLE SERVICE AND FARE VALIDATION. Standard SmartPasses are valid fare for all VTA-operated fixed route bus and light rail services through the Agreement period. A Standard SmartPass is a valid fare on VTA local bus and light rail services only; premium fare and special event service are excluded from the SmartPass program.
