Common use of Emergencies and Liaison Clause in Contracts

Emergencies and Liaison. 14.5.1 As soon as practicable after the date hereof the Parties will develop Liaison Procedures in accordance with the provisions of Parts 1 and 2 of Schedule 17 [Liaison Procedures], and the Concessionaire will comply with all such Liaison Procedures in respect of all matters to which they relate. 14.5.2 Without limiting the generality of Section 14.5.1, whenever the Concessionaire is required by this Agreement to take any action in accordance with the Liaison Procedures, it will take such action in accordance with the procedures set out in or developed in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 17 [Liaison Procedures]. 14.5.3 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the Concessionaire will take and will be entitled to take (at its own cost) such steps as are necessary in an emergency for the protection of the public, but subject to the provisions of the Liaison Procedures.
