Employee Initiated Transfer Requests. Any permanent employee covered by this Agreement shall have the privilege of requesting a transfer to any job location within the same position classification, subject to the following conditions: 14.3.1 Submission of a request for transfer on the appropriate District form. Properly filed transfer requests shall be valid for one (1) year and shall be granted according to the transfer criteria in 14.2. 14.3.2 An employee's request for transfer shall bear the signature of that employee's present immediate supervisor. 14.3.3 The filing of a request for transfer is without prejudice to the employee and shall not jeopardize the present assignment. A request for transfer may be withdrawn by the employee in writing at any time prior to official notification of transfer approval. 14.3.4 An employee may request transfer to a vacancy within his/her classification that represents a longer work schedule, and such requests shall be given priority consideration. 14.3.5 Voluntary transfer requests shall not be processed in situations that might impede the recall of laid-off employees.
Employee Initiated Transfer Requests. Each unit member covered by this Agreement shall have the right to request a transfer to any job location within the same position classification, subject to the following conditions: 12.3.1 The unit member may review the current list of vacancies in his/her classification, and be given the opportunity to apply for a transfer to said vacant position(s). The unit member shall submit a request for transfer on the appropriate District form. 12.3.2 For purposes of notification the unit member’s request for transfer shall bear the signature of that unit member’s present immediate supervisor. 12.3.3 The filing of a request for transfer is without prejudice to the unit member and shall not jeopardize the present assignment. A request for transfer may be withdrawn by the unit member in writing at any time prior to official notification of transfer approval. 12.3.4 Senior unit members with the last two (2) consecutive satisfactory performance evaluations shall be given priority consideration regarding filling vacant positions, within their classification. 12.3.5 Voluntary transfer requests shall not be processed in situations that might impede the recall of laid-off United Support Personnel. 12.3.6 Voluntary transfer requests shall not be unreasonably denied.

A request for transfer may be withdrawn by the employee in writing at any time prior to official notification of transfer approval. • The Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, or his/her designee shall notify appropriate immediate supervisor(s) of employee requests for transfer. If requested vacancies develop, administrative consideration shall be given first to those employees in the position classification who are requesting a lateral transfer • The District shall provide the employee, and the appropriate immediate supervisor, official notification of the disposition of the voluntary transfer request. • Employees seeking to transfer within the same position classification shall not be required to re-qualify for the position. • Any bargaining unit member may request from the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, or his/her designee, a written statement of reason for the denial.

Submission of a request for transfer may be made at any time during the school year up to February 15. An employee initiated transfer request will be considered up to the first day of regular teacher service for the work year. 2. The filing of a request is without prejudice to the unit member and shall not jeopardize the present assignment. A request for transfer may be withdrawn by the unit member in writing at any time prior to official notification of transfer approval. 3. The District shall, within ten (10) days of rendering a decision provide the unit member official notification of the disposition of the voluntary transfer requests. A unit member, upon request, shall be provided with the reasons for being denied an employee-initiated transfer. An employee initiated transfer request will be considered up to the first day of regular teacher service for the work year for the employer requested transfer.

The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, shall notify appropriate 17 immediate supervisor(s) of employee requests for transfer. If requested 18 vacancies develop, administrative consideration shall be given to all 19 employees who submitted properly completed transfer requests for such 20 vacancies. 1 E. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, shall provide the employee 2 and the appropriate immediate supervisor official notification of the 3 disposition of the voluntary transfer request.
Employee Initiated Transfer Requests. 1. Lists of known vacancies for the next school year shall be posted in each school no later than March 15. Postings shall be sent to the TALB Office, to each school site for posting on a designated bulletin board in the faculty lounge, and posted on the District’s website. Updates of current openings will be posted in March, April and May. Postings in June and July shall be made for information purposes only. The lists shall include (a) the District elementary or secondary school; (b) grade level or subject matter; (c) track or schedule for year-round assignments; (d) other pertinent credential/special certification and/or job description information. TALB shall be sent a copy of each list.

A request for transfer may be withdrawn by the employee in writing at any time prior to official notification of transfer approval. 19.3.3 The Superintendent shall notify appropriate manager(s) of employee requests for transfer. If requested vacancies develop, management consideration shall be given to all employees who submitted properly completed transfer requests for such vacancies. 19.3.4 The Superintendent shall give the employee and appropriate manager(s) official notification of the disposition of the voluntary transfer request. 19.3.5 Submission of a request for transfer shall be made according to District instructions. Properly filed transfer requests shall be given management consideration and shall be valid for six (6) months from the date the request was submitted to the District. The District shall give the employee written notification of the transfer request within ten (10) calendar days of the receipt. Employees with the earliest transfer requests on file with the District shall be given first consideration, all other things being equal.
