Common use of Employee Quits or Discharged Clause in Contracts

Employee Quits or Discharged. (a) Any employee with less than six (6) months seniority at the time he quits or is discharged shall not receive any part of a vacation pay. (b) Any employee with six (6) months or more seniority, but less than twelve (12) months seniority who quits or is discharged shall receive not more than his first six (6) months’ vacation pay accumulation, provided the employer shall receive at least ten (10) working days’ notice or the release date is mutually agreed to. (c) Any employee with six (6) or more month’s seniority who dies while in the employ of the School District shall thereupon have paid to the beneficiary accumulated vacation pay.
