Common use of Employees assigned to Motors Clause in Contracts

Employees assigned to Motors. Lieutenants assigned to Traffic. Employees assigned to K-9 Duty Employees assigned to all aspects of air support. Holiday Staff unit members are required to work their scheduled shifts, regardless of City observed holidays. When their shift falls on a City observed holiday, they will be paid at straight time for the hours worked that are within their scheduled shift. If they are directed by a Captain, or officer of higher rank, to work hours on a City observed holiday that are outside of their scheduled shift, Section A.2.d.1. shall apply.

When their shift falls on a City observed holiday, they will be paid at straight time one times the hourly rate defined in Article II, Section F.4.a for the hours worked that are within their scheduled shift. If they are directed by a Captain, or officer of higher rank, to work hours on a City observed holiday that are outside of their scheduled shift, Section A.2.d.1. shall apply.
