Employees of the Parties. Applera shall be solely responsible for payment of compensation to its employees and for any injury to them in the course of their employment. Applera shall assume full responsibility for payment of all federal, state and local taxes or contributions imposed or required under unemployment insurance, social security and income tax laws with respect to such persons.
